About Joey Punko
Joey Punko is a young, aspiring tournament angler with extensive experience fishing Front Range lakes and reservoirs, specifically for smallmouth bass, spotted bass, largemouth bass and walleye. He was the 2022 Colorado High School B.A.S.S. champion and competed in the 2023 Strike King Bassmaster High School Championship presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors at Lake Hartwell in Anderson, S.C.
Where we guide
JoeFish is licensed to offer guide services at Horsetooth Reservoir, Carter Lake and Boyd Lake. And coming in 2025, Lake Pueblo. JoeFish is fully bonded and insured. And Joey is certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR.
Our boat and tackle
JoeFish fishes off a Tracker TXW Pro Team 175 Tournament edition bass boat equipped with a 75-horsepower outboard motor, tournament-ready electronics and LiveScope. The guide provides rods, reels, tackle, live bait (if necessary/requested) and teaches the clients the proper techniques for the body of water being fished and species being targeted.
Booking a trip
JoeFish offers 1/2 day and full day trips for 1-3 people. Dates booked are tentative until confirmed by JoeFish. We will fish rain or shine. So please be prepared for all weather conditions. If there are concerns about the weather, Joey will reach out. Anglers are responsible for their own fishing liscenses and park entrance fees.
